Charter Training - PhonepayPlus
PhonepayPlus has recently engaged Senan Solutions to undertake the development of a training program to enable staff to get the most from their case management system, Charter.
The project is a process based initiative which will not only show users how to use a system, but also how the system fits into their day and the work they undertake.
Peter Bedford - Purchase Order Processing
While this project incorporates an implementation of the practice and culture of a purchase ordering process, a large training program is also being designed to educate all staff into the use of QLx and how purchase ordering will change how the organisation works.
Office 2007 Upgrade Training
As Office 2007 takes hold, we have been in the process of running a number of workshops and events to help our clients get up to speed with this new set of Microsoft applications.
Office 2007 is by far the boldest overhaul of all the updates to the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Many organisations have tried to introduce this upgrade without offering adequate training to staff, the response has been less than favourable. Our clients had the foresight and a duty of care to their staff to ensure they were fully supported in the change over from the old Office to the new look. As a result we have educated over 200 people in the new interface and they are now enjoying the benefits of this innovative suite of applications.
Expert in Insurance Specific Products
As we operate in the Insurance industry, amoung others, we have had to become experts in how to train insurance products to Underwriters, Claims Adjusters, Actuarial staff and many other parties that are involved in this ever complex industry. We are now considered by our clients as being experts in the delivery of this training.
Our journey into the Insurance training world has meant that we have had to step into the shoes of an insurance professional and show them how to use technology within the context of their industry. We are currently introducing Modelling and Rating tools, Solvency II practices and even helping our Insurance clients to understand how to get the most from Microsoft products in ways that are specific to their profession.

NCVO takes staff development very seriously, IT training plays a key role within this strategy.
